Cookies

The Cookies are that treat that humans love to give us, the cuddle before we go to sleep.

We can eat a cookies every day, but the cookie has to be healthy.

There are many cookies available in the shops and unfortunately not all of them are healthy, I can say that there are cookies with yoghurt, we don't eat yoghurts, so there is no point in having cookies with yoghurt.

There are also cookies with carrots or other vegetables, these we can eat, but not every day, because vegetables are not for eating every day.

And this is where it gets difficult, so you want to give us one cookies a day and you can't because not all of them are good, so how do we do it?

Simple, as I said in the part about pellets (remember? No? See here), the important thing is to learn to read the small letters in the label, the base of the cookies should always be hay, this should come first or at least be in the first 3, then check if there are no strange products for us, like yoghurt, seeds or grains, olive oil or other strange oils, ashes, salt, dyes, those ingredients that are good for nothing, and in the end will only do us harm.

I know that sometimes it is difficult to find good cookies or they are very expensive, and even worse when everyone says that those are the good ones, don't be fooled, no brand will say that its product is not good, it can even have a cookies made of bones and eggs, the brand will always say that he´s product is premium and the best there is.

So after talking to Grandma Mémé about the herbs, I talked to my Mom and asked her for some of her delicious and super healthy recipes that she used to make for me and my brothers, I will leave here some recipes ( if you want in my shop I have healthy cookies for your bunny you can see here), but like she says the main ingredient is love, then good products, no chemicals, all natural and organic and always do it with a smile.

Here are some Cokies recipes from Mom Mátra

These cookies are not like the industrial ones, they don't have chemicals or preservatives, so they don't last as long or are as hard as the ones you buy.

As they are homemade and never stay the same, it is important to understand how you should store them, for example, if they get some moisture and you store them in a closed package they will end up getting mouldy and spoil, in which case it is best to store them in an open package, so that they "breathe" and lose moisture naturally.

If they lose all the humidity in the oven, and you store them in the "air", then they will end up getting soft, in which case they are better stored in a closed package,

I know it sounds complicated, but don't feel sad or worried, with time you'll understand and start making Mamma Mátra's recipes as well as she does.
