During pregnancy and breastfeeding it is necessary to reinforce the diet of the bunnies, just like humans, the bunnies also have to produce everything twice as much and share all these nutrients with the babies, so a careful and controlled diet is very important, so that there is no deficit neither for the bunnies nor for the babies.

In this phase her appetite will increase and it is important to increase the amount of greens, herbs and reinforce the hay because besides eating it they will also use it to make the nest.

Another important point is alfalfa,it is at this time that it is important to give it to them so that they become strong and keep their energy.

Adjusting the diet of the rabbit is very important, greens of all types and shapes, herbs which help to calm and maintain the balance of the rabbit, if it is summer or if it is a time of heat, offer greens rich in water so that there is no dehydration, offer alfalfa 2 to 3 times a week, have hay always available in large quantities so that it never runs out, lots of water in a bowl and you can give the treats anyway.

It is very important to always pay attention to  pee and poo, although the bunny are pregnant these are still some of the key points to see how the bunny health is, so, even if  shes  pregnant if the pee is very white it is because there is an excess of calcium and it is important to regulate the diet,(See here the colours of pee), as well as the poo, although at this time perfect and golden poo should not be the most important thing, but without being soft.

This diet is important to maintain until the babies stop nursing, because even though she is no longer pregnant the bunny continues to share her nutrients with the babies through the milk.

Continue to avoid vegetables and fruit, your bunny is pregnant and if she has gas it will be worse than if she is not pregnant or if she has intestinal irregularity it will be more difficult to take care of because of the babies.
